Come to Chicago Zine Fest 2013 March 8th and 9th at the Columbia College Conway center! I will be tabling with the talented Carter Lodwick on the 8th floor of the Conway Center on Saturday March 9th from 11am to 6pm. For sale I will have copies of Animal Sex 1 - 3, Eyes Shut, 20,000,000, and more! I will also have prints of the “Fat Mermaid”, buttons shaped like speech bubbles, and notebooks made from original silkscreens! I’ll make sure to post updates on what I’ll have for sale over the course of the week. There are a lot of other cool events going on for Zinefest in different locations, so make sure to check out the website. I can’t wait to see some of you Saturday!
This weekend is CAKE!
I am writing to tell you that this weekend I will be tabling at CAKE (Chicago Alternative Comics Expo). I will be at table 72 with the lovely and talented Gabriela Cracraft!
It is really going to be a good time. There are going to be over 200 cartoonists tabling, speaking, and debuting new comics. I will be debuting DIG, my newest comic featuring a circus bear who, upon being politely asks to leave the circus, realizes she doesn’t exactly know how to be a bear…
The 2013 Chicago Alternative Comics Expo will take place June 15 & 16 at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N Halsted. CAKE is free and open to the public. I hope you can make it, I can’t wait!
